Position Summary:
A group of Companies is looking for Finance Assistants to oversee financial activities in their offices in Peshawar, Khyber, Charsadda-Mohmand, Kohat, and Abbottabad. The position entails maintaining financial records, managing transactions, ensuring compliance, and liaising with the Head Office finance team. The Finance Officer will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of financial information, processing transactions, and assisting financial audits for both the Pharmaceutical and Construction divisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Operations & Reporting:
• Maintain the accurate accounting records for the assigned location.
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports to the HO.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
• Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and project expenditure in a timely manner.
Accounting & Transaction Management:
• Manage daily accounting activities, including petty cash, payments, and receipts.
• Process supplier/vendor payments while adhering to company policies.
• Administer payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable and arrange timely follow-ups.
Taxation & Compliance:
• Maintain tax laws and FBR compliance.
• Prepare tax reports and assist in sales tax & withholding tax submissions.
• Facilitate communication with internal and external auditors to furnish required financial information.
Coordination with Head Office & Field Teams:
• Function as a go-between between the Head Office and the regional site teams.
• Provide teams with financial information and reporting.
• Detect and report financial anomalies, risks, and budget deviations.
Financial Systems & ERP Management:
• Utilize ERP/accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, or ERP) for financial transactions.
• Make timely entries and keep financial records for audits and management review.
Technical Skills:
• Strong finance reporting, taxation, and compliance requirements knowledge.
• Microsoft Excel, ERP, and financial application skills.
Soft Skills:
• Excellent coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Capacity to work autonomously with liaison with the Head Office.
Languages:
English, Urdu, and Pashto (desired).
