Position Summary:
A group of Companies is looking for a good and experienced Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer responsible for managing performance monitoring, impact analysis, and reporting in the construction and pharmaceutical sectors. The M&E Officer will be responsible for creating monitoring frameworks, data gathering and analysis, and delivering actionable insights for senior management to inform decision-making and operations improvement.
Desired candidate should have skills in compliance monitoring, reporting, KPI tracking, and data analysis, along with thorough knowledge of pharma and construction sectors’ performance management in Pakistan.
Main Responsibilities:
Performance Monitoring and Evaluation
• Establish and use M&E systems to monitor construction and pharma operations’ key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Perform routine checks, site inspections, and operations audits to confirm efficiency and conformity.
• Collaborate closely with operating, finance, and procurement people to handle spends, budgets and resources.
Data Collection and Analysis
• Create and maintain data collection instruments and reporting forms for measuring performance.
• Evaluate progress of projects, financial statements, and operational figures to determine areas of improvement and trends.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports summarizing key findings and recommendations to management.
Risk Management and Compliance:
• Identify risks, inefficiencies, and process variances and suggest corrective measures.
• Provide documentation and analysis support to quality assurance and audit teams as needed.
Reporting and Documentation:
• Prepare and deliver impact assessment reports to the senior leadership.
• Keep reliable records of M&E activity, assessments, and learning.
• Work with cross-functional teams to offer open and efficient reporting channels.
Capacity Building & Process Improvement
• Advise operational effectiveness strategies based on data-driven insights.
• Train and mentor team members on data collection, M&E best practices, and reporting tools.
• Assist senior management in strategic decision-making and planning through recommendations supported by evidence.
Technical Skills:
• Good understanding of data collection, analysis, and visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, or ERP systems).
• Experience with monitoring performance, monitoring KPIs, and measuring impact.
• Appreciation of the requirements of Pakistan’s compliance, regulatory environment, and reporting needs.
Soft Skills:
• Having problem-solving capability, critical thinking, and analytical capability.
• Effective communication and report-writing abilities.
• Capacity to work autonomously and interact with various teams.
