Position Summary:

A group of Companies is looking for a proven and strategic Procurement Manager to manage the procurement functions of both the construction and pharma divisions. The position demands strong experience in sourcing, vendor relations, contract negotiation, regulatory affairs, and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Strategy & Planning:

• Formulate and execute procurement policies, procedures, and strategies that are business objective-based.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to maintain competitive prices and quality.
• Coordinate procurement operations for project locations, manufacturing plants, and warehouses.

Supplier Management & Negotiations:

• Select, assess, and sustain relationships with trustworthy vendors and suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts, prices, and payment terms to secure cost savings without sacrificing quality.
• Ensure equitable and transparent vendor selection processes in accordance with company policy.

Procurement Operations & Inventory Coordination:

• Oversee raw materials, construction material, machinery, equipment, and pharmaceutical ingredient procurement.
• Facilitate timely goods procurement and delivery to prevent delays in production or projects.
• Collaborate with the inventory and warehouse teams to ensure proper stock levels.

Compliance & Regulatory Framework:

• Prevent and control procurement risks on price variation, shortages, and quality.
• Keep records of contracts, purchase orders, and supplier agreements up to date for audit and reporting

Cost Control & Budget Management:

• Formulate cost-saving measures through innovative sourcing strategy and bulk purchase arrangements.
• Ensure close coordination with finance to budget for procurements and manage costs.
• Periodically analyze and review procurement expenditure and supplier performance reports.

Team Leadership & Cross-Department Collaboration:

• Oversee and manage the procurement team for compliance with best practices.
• Coordinate and facilitate interactions with project managers, production heads, finance, and supply chain teams to guarantee effective procurement processes.
• Develop and train procurement personnel to maintain high efficiency and compliance.

Technical Skills:

• Excellent understanding of procurement best practices, contract management, and supplier assessment.
• Experience with ERP systems, procurement software, and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Soft Skills:

• Outstanding negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
